Wireless remote controls are devices that allow users to wirelessly operate or control electronic devices or systems from a distance. They eliminate the need for direct physical contact with the controlled device, providing convenience and flexibility in various applications.
Wireless remote controls typically consist of two main components: a handheld transmitter and a receiver. The handheld transmitter is the portable device that the user holds and interacts with, while the receiver is connected to the device or system being controlled.
BWI Eagle designs and manufactures industrial wireless remote controls that operate any electrical equipment or machinery. We use only the best 2.4GHz and 900MHz Spread Spectrum technology to give ultimate reliability in both short and long range applications. All products are FCC approved and require no user-site license.

Repeaters (Air-Eagle SR Plus)
Repeaters are devices used to extend the reach/coverage of a network signal. Repeaters receive incoming signals and retransmit them at a higher power or with a better signal quality, allowing the signal to travel longer distances without degradation.
Our Air-Eagle SR Plus repeaters can nearly double the range of your remote control system. Placed where the signal starts dropping out, these units pick it up and retransmit it at full power. These stationary models are fully NEMA rated and are powered by 120VAC or 9-36VDC.
Optional solar power supply systems allow use in areas where no power is available.

Transceivers (Air-Eagle SR Plus)
Transceivers are devices that combine the functionality of both a transmitter and a reciever in a single unit. They are commonly used in telecommunications and computer networking to enable bidirectional communication over a single channel or medium.
Our Air-Eagle SR Plus wireless industrial remote control transceivers provide real-time status of your remote operation. With inputs and outputs in each unit, a pair or more can transmit and receive commands. Use the receive channels at your control point to give visual or audible indication of what is happening at the remote site. Multiple independent channels allow you to control and receive status of a number of remote stations. Systems are tailored to your needs. Contact BWI Eagle for your custom configuration.

Receivers (Air-Eagle SR Plus)
BWI Eagle Air-Eagle SR Plus single or multi-channel receivers use dry-contact relay outputs for control of equipment. Our standard receivers are made with SPDT dry contact relays outputs. They are capable of switching AC or DC voltages up to 5 amps. Choose receivers with 1, 4, 8 or 16 independent relays.
The default relay operation is “maintained momentary” – commonly referred to as “dead man”, meaning the relay will remain energized while the button is depressed. Some units allow the user to select other relay modes, but ALL receivers can be custom programmed for any type of relay operation. For example, you can choose any combination of these and other options:
Note: All Air-Eagle SR series receivers are designed to operate with all Air-Eagle SR series and all Air-Eagle SR Plus series Transmitters.

E-Stop Transmitters (Air-Eagle SR Plus)
E-stop transmitters are devices used in industrial settings to provide means of emergency shutdown or stoppage of machinery or equipment. It allows operators to quickly and remotely initiate an emergency stop command to prevent accidents or dangerous situations.
BWI Eagle Air-Eagle SR Plus indutrial duty wireless E-stop transmitters are equipped with a “mushroom style” button for remote E-stop of any equipment or machinery. Multiple transmitters and receivers can be combined to create a tailored system. When used for alarm indication, independent channels allow a central station to know who sent the alarm. Numerous options available – contact BWI Eagle for more details.

We now offer a line of UL and CSA Certified Products!
We have partnered with SGS (the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company) to confirm that our products meet the specific and stringent requirements needed to earn the UL mark. UL testing is designed to ensure products always operate safely, even under extreme circumstances. During the approval process, our equipment was exposed to power surges, electrical sparks, fires, freezing temperatures, heat, dust, high humidity, and more to evaluate stability and predictability.
The tests push the product far beyond any environmental extremes you would expect it to withstand, to ensure that if circumstances cause a component to fail, it fails without causing damage to anything or anyone around it. We are proud to say our products passed with flying colors!
For our customers who require UL or CSA certificated equipment, you now have options in the BWI Eagle product line of industrial remote controls. You can rest assured that our products meet or exceed the nationally recognized standards for safety.

When installing a wireless system one of the challenges is determining optimum unit or antenna placement to achieve the most reliable signal.
Whether you are working around the electronic interference of a busy factory floor, or looking for the strongest signal outdoors through foilage and over rough terrain, or anywhere in between, we can help you eliminate the guesswork!
Our Signal Strength Testers make it easy to see how well your wireless system will perform in your selected location. Immediate results are displayed on the LCD screen. You can keep the tester running, if desired, to track performance over a period of time. You can move the tester between several locations, compare results, and determine the optimum placement of your wireless system.
The Air-Eagle SR Plus Signal Strength Tester is a portable battery powered unit that allows you to test the strength and reliability of your Air-Eagle SR Plus 2.4GHz system. An LCD display provides a bar graph to give a display of relative signal strength and a display of total signal count, missed signals, and missed signal time.
Product Features:
Signal Strength Testers are available for purchase for contractors, large installations, and for our customers who regularly move their systems. We also offer rental units for small jobs, and one-time installations.
