A2642-120VAC

A2642-120VAC

The Model 2642 3-Phase Monitor provides essential protection for industrial equipment. This device accurately senses phase loss, low voltage, and phase reversal, safeguarding critical systems from operational disruptions. Its adjustable trip delay allows for precise control over response times, ranging from 0.2 to 10 seconds, accommodating diverse application requirements. Users can configure the reset type for either automatic or manual operation, enhancing system flexibility and operational continuity. With a robust design, including transient protection up to 2500 VRMS for 10ms and an expected mechanical relay life of 10 million operations, the A2642 ensures consistent, long-term performance. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range, from -20° to +131° F, maintaining stability in challenging industrial environments. This monitor is a dependable component for maintaining system integrity and preventing costly downtime.

The Model 2642 protects electrical equipment by sensing phase loss, low
voltage and reverse phase conditions. The monitor uses a combination of
voltage and phase-angle sensing, and will detect a phase loss even when
regenerated voltages are present. The Model 2642 is fail safe; the
output contacts will transfer when correct power is applied, and trip
out on any fault condition or complete loss of power. Each of the five
voltage versions can be adjusted throughout a wide operating range. An
adjustable trip delay timer prevents nuisance tripping caused by
momentary voltage dips. LED indicators show NORMAL (green) and TRIP
(red) status. The Model 2642 has an automatic reset which can be
converted to manual reset with the addition of a normally closed switch.
The DPDT out put can be used in motor control circuits and/or alarm circuits.
